EXCELLENTVerified Beautiful nature, ocean and friendly people, all you need for a great mood and relaxation. Very much liked the country, stunningly beautiful views, friendly, smiley people and delicious seafood. The ocean is clear, although swimming is impossible strong waves, but you can find small lagoons where you can swim. All days on holiday we were accompanied by a wonderful guide Mandu. Mandu knows 5 languages, told the history of his country very interestingly, visited together the turtle sanctuary, Yala National Park, Galle port, ancient Buddhist temple. People in Sri Lanka are simple and take their time, live in their own rhythm. Even before I left England, Sanjeewa was highly responsive on WhatsApp as he helped me plan out our itinerary. Unfortunately we only had 6 days in this beautiful country, but he helped us plan out a journey to make the most of every hour we had! When I sent him my original drafted plan that I put together after speaking to friends and searching online, he helped refine my plan and every suggestion he had was spot-on. Aside from the driving service, he also helped us organize two safari tours and a separate cab journey which made our lives much easier! For the entire journey he consistently was in communication with our driver and checked in on us directly daily to ensure we were having a good time and were on track. We arrived at the airport in Colombo and were picked up by our driver Anushka, who is an all-around lovely man who showed genuine interest in making our trip as memorable as possible. He loved showing people the joys of his incredible country, and as we drove he knew all of the best places to stop, i.e. an herbal garden and a waterfall in tea fields in mountains that we hadn’t heard about prior. He took pictures of us at each destination, and even did a hike with us in Sigiriya! He was always on time, had great suggestions, and had a very happy demeanor and positive attitude. He even did a very long drive one day for us on the mountain roads, which were very grateful for. We were genuinely sad to have to say goodbye to him at the end of our journey as we really enjoyed his presence and felt that he made our amazing trip possible! We wouldn’t have known how we would’ve made this trip possible without Sanjeewa and Anushka; thank you so much for delivering an incredible level of service a trip of a lifetime!Verified Quick island tour with Anushka Sanjeewa was very response when I first reached out about a booking, he helped us to get the most out of the itinerary that my partner and I had already put together however in hindsight some of it was a bit over ambitious. We had an excellent tour guide named Anushka, he was amazing to us and I feel like we got the most out of the trip due to him being willing to take us everywhere we wanted along with some changes he helped us decide along the way due to his own knowledge and how to get the most out of our time, when we said goodbye to him after 5 days we were sad that we wouldn’t see him again, that’s how much he became part of our trip. My self and my wife Vasudhs we were thinking of visiting Sri Lanka for past many years. This June I saw advertisement on Facebook by Walk Lanka holidays. I sent response about my intrest and Sanjeewa was lightning quick to respond within few minutes. Sanjeewa is very knowledgeable about his country and he was very helpful in planning my itinerary with all my and my wife Vasudha's special needs. Though we had five and half hours time difference he was always there to answer my questions. After continuing talks for nearly month he created itinerary for our ten nights eleven days dream holiday . Before I arrived in Sri Lanka, clear estimate was given for all the charges I needed to pay for things not included in the package so there were no surprises or hidden costs.On arriving in Sri Lanka they picked us from airport. Sanjeewa and his team along with wonderful Driver / guide Mahesh they did do everything humanly possible to make our trip memorable. Car chosen, Toyota Camry was clean and comfortable with plenty of boot space.I was mainly intrested in bird watching and wild animals safaries. Location chosen for those were excellent and local naturalist Amal was too knowledgeable and helpful.All the hotels chosen were best in the region.
